Before you head for the pistes, it goes without saying that you should ask at a ticket office about the different insurance options available when buying you ski passes.


Two different formulas are available:


Day-by-Day insurance “Snow risk”

Snow risk covers risks related to skiing.
You should take out this policy, which lasts a maximum of 21 days, when you buy your ski pass.
Details of the offer are available from the head office of the Châtel ski lift company.

Winter 2009.2010 Rates
Adult: €3 per day per ski pass per adult
Children under 16: €2.50 per day per ski pass per children aged 5 to 15 incl.

Sales points :
At any lift cashier at the bottom of the slopes and at the main cashier in the centre of the village.

 

 

The « Carte neige »


A yearly insurance valid from the date of purchase until 15 October 2010. It covers any accident anywhere in the world, provided you are participating as an amateur in:
- Skiing in any form,
- Any sporting activity while on holiday in the mountains, including trekking on skis or on foot, with or without snow shoes, avec ou sans raquettes.
- Any sport or other collective activity organised by and under the responsibility of an association or group affilliated to the French Skiing Federation.

2009.2010 Rates
Individual “carte neige”:
Adult: €58 
Children under 18: €52
Family “carte neige”: €162
(minimum 4 people: parents and children in their care).
